Can you get yourself out of physical pain?
Thomas Hanna, coined the termed Somatics, to describe “the body experienced from within”.
He wrote this classic text describing how we can be held subject to signals from our brain.
It’s as if our muscles have forgotten how to function properly – a term he uses to describe this is sensory-motor amnesia.
Our pain patterns are merely a distorted signal which can be rectified by the big muscle, the brain, restoring function and allowing us to “live and move pain free”.
Being stiff, having a bad back, living with chronic pain and sensing a loss of energy is not worth it… You can use your brain by what I call un-exercises, aka Somatics, and no longer be imprisoned by the signals you feel.

Your marvelous brain can change muscles by “simple, easy movement” according to Norman Doidge, the author of The Brain that Changes Itself.
Your changeable brain allows you to do the amazing things you’ve already learned to do.
Maybe your brain isn’t what they told you or what you were lead to believe.
Can you use it to further your own potential?
What sorts of tricky spots can you yourself unwind?
This book further exemplifies what many have witnessed in the mind-body arena… how the mind-body is connected… as people further uncover their own personal story and triumphs merely wielding the powers in the brain.
