How This Works +

How this Works

See below when classes are offered.

See the time zone converter to check your local time.

You can sign up for either the AM or PM class.  If there are two classes on the same day.  The class will be the same.

Once you joined.  You will receive the link to register for the class first.
Then you will receive a link to attend.

Then use that link a few minutes before the class starts to make sure you are ready when the host arrives.

What Devices Will Work

Phone, tablet, laptop, desktop.

Each one will work a little differently.

You'll be able to see me and others (by choice).

And you'll be able to ask questions and get answers.

Watch this to see how to do it the first time.

What You Need to Know +

What You Need to Know

Please arrive (10-15 minutes) early if you are new to get set up.

Please be on time. Class will normally begin on time. There can be a delay if we are experiencing a technical difficulty. So please be patient.

You may want to set up the camera on your device (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop) in advance. I will need to be able to see your entire body lying on the floor or in bed.

You will have the option not to be on camera if you so choose.

What to Wear

Any clothing that is comfortable for you.

If you have any physical limitations, please have a towel, blanket, pillow, roll of paper towels, etc. You can use that to support your body as needed.

Floor or Bed

The floor is usually better since you will get clearer information. Though a bed can work if you so choose.

Sticky mats are not recommended since you will be moving your body. But you can use that and cover it with a sheet or wear slick enough clothes to be able to move along it.

See you in class,

P.S. What to Do if the Meeting Drops

Yep. Technology happens. Go back to the link that you received in the email.  Then you can rejoin.

Carol: Started today with an awful migraine. Was able to make an unusual connection from the right neck down to the left calf. So I'll be able to make those connections in the future. Thank you.

Sunil: Got motivated to get back into this. A really great set of movements. And I felt those good feeling tremors/vibrating releasing afterwards. Stood up feeling relaxed which was nice.

Ed has over 19 years of experience, helping people find natural pain relief with somatics exercises.

They are the complete reverse to most approaches.  We use conscious gentle body movements that targets the brain’s motor cortex.

This resets the nervous system to deeper states of relaxation.  Which leads to a healthy, fully-functional body.

In a nutshell, this is sensory-motor control exercises, mindful-based stress reduction and progressive relaxation.  All rolled into one.

The American College of Physicians (2017) are saying this is "the first thing to do to relieve pain".

This "alternative to exercise" approach helps us regain natural flexibility. Where you end up feeling more relaxed!
