How This Works +

How this Works

See below when classes are offered.  Some classes are already full but can change as openings occur.

You can sign up for either the AM or PM class.  If there are two classes on the same day.  The class will be the same.

See the time zone converter to check your local time.  Ours is Central Time Zone (-5).

Once you've joined.  You will receive the link to register for the class.
Then you will receive a link to attend.

Use that link a few minutes before the class starts to make sure you are ready when the host arrives.  Plus, right before class you will be sent a reminder.

What Devices Will Work

Phone, tablet, laptop, desktop.

Each one will work a little differently.

You'll be able to see me and others (by choice).

And you'll be able to ask questions and get answers.

Watch this to see how to do it the first time.

What You Need to Know +

What You Need to Know

Please arrive (10-15 minutes) early if you are new to get set up.

Please be on time. Class will normally begin on time. There can be a delay if we are experiencing a technical difficulty. So please be patient.

You may want to set up the camera on your device (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop) in advance. I will need to be able to see your entire body lying on the floor or in bed.

You will have the option not to be on camera if you so choose.

What to Wear

Any clothing that is comfortable for you.

Props

If you have any physical limitations, please have a towel, blanket, pillow, roll of paper towels, etc. You can use that to support your body as needed.

Floor or Bed

The floor is usually better since you will get clearer information. Though a bed can work if you so choose.

Sticky mats are not recommended since you will be moving your body. But you can use that and cover it with a sheet or wear slick enough clothes to be able to move along it.

See you in class,

Ed

P.S. What to Do if the Meeting Drops

Yep. Technology happens. Go back to the link that you received in the email.  Then you can rejoin.

Ed lived with chronic pain and fibromyalgia in his 20's & 30's, so he appreciates the long road out and can help you shortcut your way back to feeling comfortable for life.

Ed has over 20 years of experience, helping people find natural pain relief with somatics exercises which are the complete reverse to most approaches since we use conscious gentle body movements that targets the brain’s motor cortex, resets the nervous system, and provides deeper states of relaxation which leads to a healthy, fully-functional body.

Essentially it's motor control exercises (MCE), mindful-based stress reduction (MBSR) and progressive relaxation all rolled into one which now the American College of Physicians (ACP) are saying is "the first thing to do relieve pain".

Muscle lengthening, recovery, relaxation and control are restored by this "alternative to exercise” approach; plus it's natural pain relief that actually works!
